Newcastle Olympic teams dominant over another weekend of football

NPL SENIORS:
On Saturday Newcastle Olympic took on Lambton Jaffas at Arthur Edden in Round 4 of the competition and came away with two victories and a draw.

1st Grade drew 2-2
Goals: Jared Muller, Dino Fajkovic
2nd Grade Olympic won 2-1
Under 18s Olympic won 2-1

 

WPL Herald Women’s Premier League:
On Sunday Newcastle Olympic WPL teams met Broadmeadow Magic at Darling St Oval and came away with three emphatic wins and a draw!

1st Grade drew 2-2
Goals: Brooke Summers, Jemma House

Reserve Grade Olympic won 4-1
Under 17s Olympic won 7-1
Under 14s Olympic won 12-0

YOUTH NPL:
Newcastle Olympic travelled to Weston in Round 6 of the season and had no problem returning with four comfortable wins.

Under 16s Olympic won 6-0
Under 15s Olympic won 5-2
Under 14s Olympic won 10-0
Under 13s Olympic won 6-0

ZONE LEAGUE:
Newcastle Olympic Zone League teams played New Lambton on Saturday at Islington Park but suffered two losses!
1st Grade lost 3-0
2nd Grade lost 3-2

OVER 35s:
Newcastle Olympic Over 35s played at Chapman Oval No2 against Swansea on Friday night and had no difficulty winning 3-1.

SAP/NET:
Newcastle Olympic SAP U9s, U10s, and U11s played West Wallsend, Cooks Hill, Charlestown, HVF Girls and Jets girls over the weekend and played some outstanding football as well as recording some very high scoring wins.
Newcastle Olympic U12s NET met Adamstown on Saturday and had no problem earning a 7-0 victory.

Community Juniors:
Newcastle Community juniors played Round 5 of the season on Saturday against South Wallsend, Adamstown, Medowie and Stockton. Our young Olympians produced some great displays, and entertained their coaches, parents and themselves.
